General Terms and Conditions of Sale

1. Role of POLYGUN company

The La Belle Illustration website is published by POLYGUN, which acts as a sales intermediary (Marketplace). Our platform enables direct connection between independent illustrators and buyers. POLYGUN is not the seller of the works, but facilitates the transaction and secures payment.

2. Order process and shipping

Each illustrator is responsible for managing their inventory, carefully preparing the order, and shipping it. Delivery times and methods are specified by the author on their product sheet. The sales contract is formed directly between the buyer and the illustrator upon order validation.

3. Payment and Escrow

The order payment is collected by POLYGUN via a secure payment platform. POLYGUN holds the funds in escrow until the order is received by the customer. Once the sale is received and validated without dispute, POLYGUN transfers the balance to the illustrator, minus a service commission for platform fees.

4. Right of withdrawal and Disputes

In accordance with the law, the buyer has a period of 14 days to exercise their right of withdrawal, except for customized or made-to-order works. In case of dispute (non-receipt or damaged item), POLYGUN acts as a mediator to facilitate resolution between the author and their customer before releasing funds.

5. Responsibilities

The illustrator undertakes to provide accurate information about their works and to respect intellectual property rights. POLYGUN cannot be held responsible for defects related to shipping or non-compliance of the work, although we reserve the right to exclude any seller who does not meet our quality standards.
